How to Simply Scan Invoices, Receipts, or Expenses to Project Budgets?

So, if you’re manually entering receipts, invoices, expenses, and tracking them against project budgets, you’re simply wasting the company’s valuable, valuable time. What we can do is, we can link everything to projects and to budgets automatically for you to make sure that we’re not doing any manual data entry. How we do it is, we essentially scan all the invoices, receipts, whatever they might be, through a purposely built scanning technology. And what it’s going to do is, it’s going to look at the invoice or the receipt or the expense.

It’s going to take all the data from that document. And on the right-hand side of the screen, it’s going to feed us back that data. So, we basically can automate everything that’s coming off these documents.

So, in this example, we have an invoice. On the left-hand side of the screen is the invoice. On the right-hand side of the screen is what we found from the invoice.

So, it’ll tell us who the supplier is, the type of document it is. The purchase order number is always interesting because it links the costs we find to a project. So, for example, the 2516 VAT total can now be deployed instantly to that project on phase, again, taking another job away from someone.

So, all the data is basically sucked off that expense or invoice. And then, I can literally take that and link up all the data belonging to that. So, who raised the purchase order? What was on the purchase order? Who took the delivery in? How does the line item price look in terms of fluctuation? What project does it belong to? It’s a complete automation rather than looking at these invoices and having to manually enter them.
