PROJECT COST SOLUTIONS
When it comes to tracking plant or equipment costs against projects, these can often be the forgotten costs, or the ones that get difficult to actually track, especially when it comes to actually owning the plant or equipment ourselves.
What we need to do is set up a simple database where we can actually see these listed out in terms of its ownership type or the cost that it requires to the project or to the company.
That way we can structure a day rate, a weekly rate, or a project rate on that particular piece of plant or equipment. Then it’s just a matter of deploying that to the project in a similar way to how we maybe look at employees.
We can set up timesheets, and each plant or equipment can have a timesheet attached to it.
That way, we’re capturing that cost and syncing that cost to a project’s dashboard on a day to day basis.
